Decomposing the 'Transportation and Storage' sector
Do we have a shortage of Transportation and Storage businesses?
There is strong firm creation in Transportation and Storage according to our latest September data. We observe an increase in the daily new registrations across the sector. If we decompose the business registrations on a 4-digit level, we note that freight transport has increased significantly the last two months. In particular, we note a big increase in firms created in “Freight transport by road”.
